Anthony Rajan
CEO and Director
Anthony Rajan is one of the founding members of Vayana TradeXchange (VTX). Under his leadership, VTX has successfully established and scaled its operations, including the automation of participant onboarding and transaction monitoring processes.
With over two decades of experience in international factoring and trade finance across India and the Middle East, Anthony has held leadership roles with leading factoring companies and banks. He is one of the few experience professionals who has contributed immensely to the growth of factoring across banking and non-banking finance industry. He is also a guest author at ICC Academy on factoring.
On the academic front, he holds a Masters Degree in Commerce, an MBA in Banking and Finance and Diploma in International Factoring from Factors Chain International (FCI), Amsterdam apart from being an Alumni of IIM Calcutta.
He has been with Vayana since Nov 2021 and currently serves as the CEO of Vayana Tradexchange.
Vishal Somani
Chief Financial Officer
Vishal Somani is a Chartered Accountant and Company Secretary with over 12 years of progressive experience in finance controllership, consolidation, accounting, taxation and cashflow management. He serves as CFO of Vayana (IFSC) Private Limited, leading consolidation of group financials, GST and Income tax compliance, treasury and global remittances, and internal and statutory audits. With a prior background in high-growth startups across the Edtech and Blockchain sectors, he brings strong expertise in cash flow forecasting, financial planning and analysis, Indian GAAP, IFRS and Ind AS reporting, SEZ and IFSCA compliance, and transfer pricing documentation, enabling sound financial governance and business growth.
Mandar Hukeri
SVP, Compliance & Principal Officer
Mandar Hukeri is a seasoned banking, Trade Finance and Fintech professional with 18+ years of experience across Receivables Finance, Factoring, Supply Chain Finance and regulated fintech platforms. He has led Operations, Compliance, KYC/AML, Product, Business Development and Financial Institution relationships. At Vayana TradeXchange, he oversees Compliance, Business and Operations for the ITFS platform at GIFT City. Previously, he worked with State Bank of India and played a key role in building and scaling TReDS platforms, driving onboarding, operations and implementation.
Shweta Anurag
Head of Product
Shweta Anurag is a fintech Product Leader with 12+ years of deep expertise in Trade Finance, Supply Chain Finance, and Digital Financial Platforms. As Vice President – Product at Vayana (IFSC) Pvt. Ltd., she drives product strategy, innovation, product development and execution for IFSCA-regulated Cross-Border Trade Finance Solutions. With experience building regulated platforms across TReDS and ITFS, she brings a strong blend of strategic vision, business acumen, technology, and regulatory understanding. Her leadership focuses on transforming trade finance through digitalisation, ecosystem partnerships, scalable and technology-led solutions.
Kripa Bhatnagar
Vice President, Engineering
Kripa Bhatnagar is a Technology Leader with 12+ years of experience in software engineering, product development, and technology transformation, with a focus on Trade Finance and Supply Chain Finance. As Vice President – Engineering at Vayana TradeXchange, she leads Engineering Strategy, Platform Modernization, Digital onboarding, Integrations, and Automation initiatives. Her leadership combines strong technical expertise with business alignment, driving scalable technology solutions that simplify complex financial processes, improve operational efficiency, and enable digital transformation across the trade finance ecosystem.
